Spring has officially sprung and at Bents Garden & Home we’ve got Easter covered with a whole host of events and activities for all the family to enjoy. From chocolate making workshops to family fun days, there’s something to keep everyone entertained.
Chocolate Lollypop Workshop
On Tuesday 4th April, children between the ages of 5-12 can unleash their inner chocolatier with a Chocolate Lollypop Workshop hosted by a professional chocolatier.
Lasting approximately 90 minutes, this workshop includes a deliciously chocolaty demonstration and games before giving them the chance to make and decorate three lollypops using techniques including piping, marbling, shaping, and decorating using coloured chocolate and sweets. With places at just £17.50 per child, this event is sure to be a hit with little ones who have a sweet tooth.
Easter Themed Creation Station
On the 5th, 12th, and 14th April, the Creation Station at Bents is the place to be this Easter.
With a little LED tealight and some crafting accessories, children can create an eggcellent Easter Egg Tealight Holder using deco pens. This is the perfect opportunity for children to get creative and make something special that they can take home and cherish. Places are just £2 and can be purchased in our children’s boutique, with sessions starting at 10.00-10.45 and 11.00-11.45.
Easter Family Fun Day
On Saturday 8th April, there’s entertainment in abundance at Bents’ Easter Family Fun Day.
Between 10.30-16:30 Willy Wonka and his Oompa Loompas will be putting on a number of special shows and handing out chocolate treats, whilst the Covered Walkway will be home to a Mini Farm featuring a host of friendly farmyard animals such as calves, lambs, goats, rabbits and more for little ones to meet.
Bent’s Big Bunny Hop
For those looking to give back this Easter, Bents’ Big Bunny Hop on Sunday 16th April is the perfect event. Participants can take part in a charity 5k to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
All participants receive a medal, drink, and chocolate treat as a reward. The event starts at 9.30am from outside The Pet Place with a donation to Bents’ 2023 Charity of the year required to enter. In addition to our charity fun run, there’s plenty for little ones, with an Easter themed treasure hunt on throughout the break, along with a choice of dining destinations, outdoor play area, Indoor Beach, and Bents’ Jurassic Cove Adventure Gol.
