We are delighted to announce that we have been recognised for supporting the health and wellbeing of both our customers and colleagues with two recent Cheshire based awards; Warrington’s Food Hygiene Scheme and the University of Chester High Sherrif’s Awards for Enterprise.
After a recent inspection by Warrington Council, we were awarded the highest Food Hygiene Rating by the national Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, acknowledging the Centre’s excellent standards in food handling, cleanliness and management of food safety.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a national public information service which publishes the official local authority ratings of restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes throughout the UK. The number five rating follows a recent inspection by Warrington Borough Council which once again found the highest levels of food hygiene practices and procedures throughout all dining destinations here at Bents.
At the same time, the Centre was also awarded as runner up in the Business Health and Wellbeing category at the annual University of Chester High Sherrif’s Awards for Enterprise. Open to any size of business and charity in Cheshire West & Chester, Cheshire East, Halton and Warrington, the Health and Wellbeing award recognises the steps taken to create an environment for our employees to succeed.
We were acknowledged for our commitment to implementing an effective strategy for our work force by demonstrating ‘positive workplace culture and practices which help with employee satisfaction, retention, and increased productivity, and creating a healthier and happier workforce’.
