Enjoy a winter day out at Bents

There's a world of things to do at Bents beneath the shelter of our Open Skies Glass House, so whatever weather this winter brings, you can enjoy a day out in comfort.

Many of our customers come back time and time again just to take a look around their local garden centre to see what's new as the seasons change.

And there's so much more to discover…

Food and drink

If you're planning to stay all day, you'll be happy to know there's plenty of freshly prepared, home-made food and drink on offer, with a choice of delicious dining destinations to choose from.

And throughout the festive period our Open Skies Glass House is home to our Winter Food Market where you can enjoy all the flavours of a traditional Christmas market in the comfort of our relaxing all-weather environment.

You can even bring your pet - dogs aren't allowed in the main garden centre (except service dogs) but you can dine together in our Pet Café.

Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf

If you're feeling brave, our dinosaur crazy golf course Jurassic Cove opens whenever the weather allows!

We try to stay open in rain - although if it gets stormy or freezing, we may have to close the course, so we would advise calling ahead on 01942 266 300 to check we're open.

This 18-hole golf course has a theme that combines pirate AND dinosaur crazy golf with animatronics and plenty of adventure along the way.

Eco Explorer NatureTrail

Another fun activity for the little ones - or even for adults who want to explore our Open Skies Glass House in a slightly different way - is our educational Eco Explorer Nature Trail.

Just install the Eco Explorer app on your iPhone, Android or Windows Phone before you head down to your local garden centre on Warrington Road.

There are three difficulty settings suitable for under-7s, 7-11s and 11+ so children of all ages get an experience that delivers the right amount of education along the way.

The Beach Life

Finally, our Indoor Beach means you don't have to face the elements at all to get a sample of summertime in the middle of winter!

It's located in our Open Skies Glass House and you don't even need to bring a bucket and spade, as we have plenty available for your little ones to use.

We also have our on-site retail partners, not to mention the Bents Christmas shop filled with all the garden centre Christmas decorations and Christmas ornaments you need to celebrate the season.
