Make Your Own Pizza: Budding chefs can roll up their sleeves and get creative at our Make Your Own Pizza experience. Let them deliberate over their favourite toppings…will it be an all-cheese creation or will ham and mushrooms take the top spot?
Whatever the combination, they can create pizza perfection before having them freshly baked in our wood-fired pizza oven on the Alfresco Terrace. This is a hugely popular activity taking place on 7th, 13th and 14th April, 11.00am - 1.00pm so booking is essential.
Little One Makes – Pressed Flower Pinch Bowls: Young creatives with a love of nature can enjoy a relaxing, hands-on workshop with Paintings by Nel. Here they will be carefully guided through making their own pinch bowl, learning simple clay techniques along the way. Once shaped, children can decorate their piece with beautiful pressed flowers, creating a unique nature-inspired design to take home and treasure.
Whilst this is a calm and creative activity, perfect for children with a love of nature and expressing themselves through art, it’s also important to remember it can get messy! This is a one off event taking place on 7th April, 9.30am – 11.00am and booking is essential.
Story Time with Harriet the Helicopter Doctor: Little book lovers can enjoy a special storytelling session as local author Noamaan Wilson-Baig visits Bents to share the adventures of Harriet the Helicopter Doctor. Inspired by the incredible work of air ambulance teams, the story follows Dr Harriet and her dedicated helicopter crew as they respond to emergencies and help save lives.
Children can sit back, listen to Harriet’s exciting journey and learn more about the important role these real-life heroes play in helping people when they need it most. This fun and engaging story time experience for young readers will take place on 9th April at 9.30am.
Crafting with Warrington Youth Zone: Crafting with Warrington Youth Zone: Little gardeners can get creative while celebrating their love of nature in this hands-on crafting session with our fantastic charity of the year, Warrington Youth Zone. Children will design and decorate their own bee-themed plant pot sticks before planting calendula seeds to take home and grow.
Known for their bright, cheerful flowers and ability to attract bees and other important pollinators, calendula plants are a wonderful way to introduce young gardeners to the magic of growing and caring for nature. Join us on 17th April, 10.00am – 2.00pm
