At Bents, we’re always looking for ways to support the health and happiness of our furry friends and that’s why we’re delighted to welcome the experts from PetMedics, who will be visiting The Pet Place every other Wednesday to host a dedicated and free of charge dog weight clinic.
These clinics will give customers the opportunity to pop in with their dogs for a quick and friendly weight check, helping owners understand whether their pet is at a healthy weight and, if not, what can be done to help shed those extra pounds.
Expert Support for Your Dog’s Wellbeing
Our bi-weekly weight clinics are run by a qualified veterinary nurse from PetMedics, who brings expert knowledge and a caring approach. During each visit dogs will be weighed and assessed and owners will receive:
- A professional evaluation of their dog’s current weight
- Advice on whether weight management support is needed
- A personalised weight management plan, tailored to your dog’s breed, age and lifestyle
- Guidance on how often weight checks should be carried out
- Ongoing support and advice

Don’t forget to keep a look out for Bents Bark Fest, taking place on Saturday 28th February & Sunday 1st March. Join us for this ‘pawfully’ brilliant event, where we’ll be celebrating all things dog-related and giving our four-legged friends centre stage for two fun-filled days.
Across the weekend, visitors can enjoy exciting demonstrations, special offers and plenty of tips and tricks to help keep dogs happy and healthy. Our much-loved Mini Crufts will be returning, with prizes up for grabs for our canine competitors, while Bartley Studios will be on hand to capture those perfect pet portraits. We’ll also be joined by some of our amazing suppliers, making Bark Fest a must-visit event for all dog lovers.
