Christmas and the new year are exciting times for most people, but at Bents it also means it's time for us to go into battle to prove our place among the best garden centres in Cheshire and throughout the UK.
The Garden Centre Association Annual Awards take place in January, so local garden centres from up and down the country will be vying for some of the top titles and as usual, Bents will be among them as we defend our impressive record of winning Best Destination Garden Centre in the UK for 2018 and 2019.
It won't be easy - retaining awards can be even harder than winning them - but we're hoping for a strong performance again in early 2020.
Your multi award-winning local garden centre
In January 2019 we were delighted to win several GCA Awards including the coveted Destination Garden Centre of the Year title, for a second consecutive year.
The judges praised our high quality products and presentation, our customer service and the general environment of Bents garden centre.
GCA Inspector Andy Campbell said: "What really impresses me about Bents is the strength, authority and focus on detail across all categories, whilst delivering an outstanding customer experience."
Those words really mean a lot to us. We work hard to be the first-choice local garden centre for Cheshire households and it's great to be recognised for all of the effort we have put into making Bents a great destination for a day out.

Over the years we've built our product range to offer much more than just garden supplies.
Every day we welcome visitors to the Bents Food Hall, our Open Skies Glass house and other retail departments. Young children enjoy our indoor beach area and adventure playground, and dogs can get pampered at The Pet Place.
There's dinosaur crazy golf with a free spectator area if you just want to take a look at the animatronic dinosaurs, and our Eco Explorer Treasure Trail app to help our younger visitors explore and learn as they move through the Open Skies Glass House.
It all adds up to a destination day out that we're really proud of, so it's great to be recognised in not just one award category, but several very different ones.
