Bents Wins Prestigious Jury Prize at European Retail Awards Celebrating innovation, experience, and excellence in retail
We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news—Bents Garden & Home has been awarded the Special Jury Prize at the inaugural European Retail Awards, held in Amersfoort, Netherlands, on April 28, 2025.
Hosted by EK Retail to mark its 100th anniversary, the event celebrated excellence in retail businesses from across Europe and Bents was recognised for its customer understanding and ability to create a meaningful “Next Level Shopping Experience.”
Having been nominated to enter the awards, Bents were visited by a team of judges who were looking for owner-managed, independent retailers who are making a mark in highly competitive markets with exceptional entrepreneurial activity. Finalists were chosen from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Austria.
Helen and Katherine Bent, were proud to accept the award on behalf of our dedicated team and jury chair, Claudia Wasser, noted: “The level of talent and innovation among the nominees was outstanding, making our decisions very difficult. But I believe we have selected winners who truly represent the best of European retail.”
This award is a celebration of the passion and creativity of every member of the Bents team. It also reinforces our aim to create a destination where shopping becomes an experience—something memorable, meaningful, and just a little bit magical.
