At Bents, we believe in giving back - and once again, our wonderful customers and colleagues have helped us do just that in the most generous way possible. We are thrilled to announce that £29,785.60 has been raised and donated to our 2024 Charity of the Year, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).
Based in Cheshire, CAFT is a truly special place that brings joy, fun, and laughter to children facing illness, disability, or social disadvantage. Whether through day visits or residential breaks, the charity creates magical experiences for young people who’ve had to overcome incredible challenges.
A Team Effort
Throughout the year, our community has come together in countless ways to support this fantastic cause. From our ever-popular Annual Charity Ball and regular raffles to a two-day static cycle challenge by our amazing colleagues, the fundraising spirit has been truly inspiring.
We’ve also donated Easter eggs and Christmas toys, helping to spread smiles during some of the most important times of the year.
A Visit from CAFT
We were delighted to welcome Helen Crowther from CAFT to Bents, where we proudly presented the donation. Helen was joined by members of the Warrington Youth Zone, our newly announced 2025 Charity of the Year.
“There’s absolutely no way we could run our facility without the support of all our amazing donors and incredible volunteers,” said Helen. “Without companies like Bents and their hugely supportive customers and colleagues, the CAFT magic simply wouldn’t happen.”
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we close this chapter with CAFT, we’re excited to begin our journey with the Warrington Youth Zone - a vibrant, purpose-built centre dedicated to inspiring young people. With activities ranging from sports and music to cooking and enterprise, the Youth Zone helps young people aged 7–19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs) build skills, confidence, and friendships in a safe and supportive environment.
“We’ve supported the Youth Zone in the past with donations, and now we’re looking forward to working with them more closely throughout 2025,” says Managing Director Matthew Bent. “If we can match the success we had with CAFT, we’ll be very proud.”
Thank You
To every customer who bought a raffle ticket, donated a toy, or cheered us on during the cycle ride - thank you. Your support has made a real difference. We’re excited for what’s ahead and know that, together, we can continue to create positive change in our community.
