Each year, we transform part of our extensive garden centre into a magical Christmas shop filled with every kind of decoration you can imagine:

• Baubles, garlands, table decorations and wreaths
• Lemax Christmas model villages and accessories
• Christmas candles and fragrances

We also have a fantastic selection of seasonal ornaments and toys that make excellent Christmas gifts for your loved ones.

Is the Bents Christmas shop open in 2020?

The Bents Christmas shop will be open as normal in 2020 and we are looking forward to welcoming customers in store, where we have a carefully planned and controlled environment, to ensure the safest possible festive shopping environment for customers.

Whilst the layout may look a little different this year, our team has worked hard to ensure their much loved Christmas shop has the same magical wow factor, to help brighten up homes in a year that has brought many challenges.

Favourite features, such as our forest of artificial Christmas trees, inspirational displays and festive lighting all return and have been relocated throughout the Centre to accommodate the existing one-way system and social distancing measures already in place.

Christmas also extends into our Open Skies Glass House which will feature a light tunnel as well as ideas for the festive garden and brightening up the outside of the home, a place which has grown ever more important during the last six months.

Changes have also been made to the way decorations are displayed and packaged, to make shopping easier and safer, whilst not impacting on inspiration.

We continue to carefully control the number of customers in store, restricting entry with only two of entrances open and monitored by colleagues. Strict social distancing and one-way systems continue to be in place and cleaning stations are located throughout the store, all in addition to all our stringent cleaning schedules.

Longer Bents opening hours for Christmas 2020

From Wednesday October 14th, we're introducing longer Bents opening hours for Christmas 2020, so you can visit your local garden centre at a time of day that suits you.

We are working on plans for a better queuing system and will start letting customers in from 8:30am on weekdays, staying open until 9pm, so you have plenty of time to browse our garden centre Christmas shop and choose your artificial Christmas trees, decorations, LED outdoor lights, garlands and baubles to spruce up your home for the festive season.

All of this is designed to give you the best possible experience of shopping at the Bents Christmas department, which we know is a popular day trip for many of our local residents in the run-up to Christmas.

The measures we have introduced not only make it safer to shop in person at this time, but should also enhance the experience, so we look forward to seeing you all at Bents in the weeks to come.

Home delivery and click-and-collect

You can shop from the Bents Christmas department online, and we've worked hard to put as many of our Christmas decorations on the website as possible.

You can opt for home delivery or choose click-and-collect, which means you can pop down to Bents at a time that's convenient for you to pick up your prepared order.
